NCCA, NETA & ACE-CPT Exams

The National Commission for Certifying Agencies, (NCCA), has accredited NASM-CPT.

The NASM-CPT exam requires that you have a highschool diploma or equivalent. If you don’t have a diploma from high school, the General Education Development Diploma (GED). The American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers recognizes GED as an equivalent diploma. A current CPR/AED certificate is necessary. You must also have experience in these fields to pass your exam.

ACE offers self study materials

ACE offers self help materials for the NCCA/NCPS and ACE-CPT examinations. These materials are available for $399 and include the exam fee, as well as various prep resources. You can either purchase the self-study material as a single item or in a set. The Pro-essential package includes all study materials necessary for the exam. The Pro-plus package includes a digital textbook, guide, and other support materials. A course online on fitness math is included in the Pro-advantage bundle.


The NETA exam can be taken for a two-year certification

NETA is a training and educational organization that focuses on providing high-quality education. NETA has granted certification to more 120,000 fitness professionals. You can prepare yourself for the NETA exam using their self-study materials and a two-day seminar. You can take the NETA Personal Trainer exam for $249. After passing your exam, you will need 20 continuing education credits.

CCN is an independent certifying body of NAMSS

The Certification Commission of NAMSS -CCN is an autonomous unit of NAMSS. This is responsible for developing and administering certification exams. CCN has national standards for certification. It is similar in function to the Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare, Medicaid Services. These standards are reviewed each five years. CCN certifies that all certification examinations are uniform and of equal reliability and validity.

ICE is a membership organization for all professions

The ICE, an engineering and professional membership association, was founded in 1834. Founded in 1834, it has members in all professional occupations including civil engineers. Its primary purpose is to promote and advance professional learning, manage and safeguard engineering ethics, and represent engineers' interests in government. It is responsible for establishing standards of membership and advising on engineering education. Members receive a bimonthly copy of New Civil Engineer.

How to Stay Fit When You're 40

Try to spend one hour of your free time doing something enjoyable. You can do this by going for a walk or reading, playing sports, listening to music, or watching TV.
