NASM-CPT has been accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies. (NCCA).

A high school diploma or equivalent diploma is required to sit for the NASM CPT test. If you don't have a high school diploma, you can use the General Education Development (GED) diploma. American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers has recognized GED as an equivalent diploma. A current CPR/AED certificate is necessary. You must also have experience in these fields to pass your exam.

ACE provides self-study materials
